SUP Pilate’s focuses on the Core muscles. The Core consists of the abdominal, lower back, upper leg, pelvic, buttocks, and rotator cuff muscles. As we focus on the core muscles in Pilates, you’ll be getting a lot more of what you actually need from the workout such as strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, coordination, balance, and good posture.
SUP Pilates lessons are taught by a professional, qualified Pilates Instructor who will work with you to develop your fitness goals.
What is SUP Pilates?
SUP and Pilates are two of the most invigorating activities out there today! So we’ve brought the best of both worlds together by presenting one of the most enjoyable fitness programs known.
What exactly is SUP you ask? SUP stands for Standup Paddle boarding and it is a cross between surfing and kayaking.
And Pilates? Pilates is a method of fitness best described as the art of controlled gestures that feel more like you’re doing a workout instead of some sort of physical therapy.
How is SUP Pilates Done?
All you need for your first sup Pilates lessons Dubai are some comfortable workout clothes, a paddle, and a paddleboard. SUP is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Once you’ve gotten you’re balance down, you will become confident enough to try more adventurous things while balancing on your paddleboard. Enter Pilates! Because you are doing all of your Pilates movements on your paddleboard on water, your core muscles get the biggest workout – this is exactly the main focus of the program and it has a remarkable variety of benefits!
We use stable stand up paddle boards to learn: it makes a very comfortable mat!
